the black cat, yami, is her mascot and pet, possesses special power which is yet unknown.
i think i got too carried away with the jewelry and details but this painting definitely helped me break an artist block that hindered me from creative work for a prolonged period of time.

i find myself drawn to two particularity gorgeous parts of this picture. the cat's face and her feet.

Certainly a well done piece. The main thing that really catches my eye though, in finishing this off fittingly, is strangely not the woman herself, but the almost watercolour like bordering as it blends into the white. It adds a lot to the atmosphere of this piece, imho, as it strikes a similar cord with the nice lighting involved throughout.

i've been using photoshop 7 all the time. i used to have a wacom intuos2 tablet which i used to digitally color my scanned pencil sketches, but that old tablet has been cranky after 5 years. i've just got a new intuos4
