Rough work I did a week ago. Trying to improve on paint strokes, and background. Although this is just a simple lotus on water and I suck at drawing plants!Related content

The background's lovely as well, however, you may want to blur together the watery area so it looks more realistic?

i tried staying away from the special effects tool and wanted to keep the strokes.
but the background was intentionally not refined as this was a practice of the face and composition
