Description Photo 1/3!

The other day a friend of mine asked me to take and edit photos for her neighbour's birthday of her two kids, so we went to a nearby park. While we were there, a man walking his four dogs came by and was happy for me to snap a few shots of his beautiful companions. Unfortunately, I only managed to get good photos of 3 of them. (They all insisted on trying to lick the camera!)

I borrowed my friend's camera for the photos. I wish I had one like it- it was amazing. :c

Anyway, this is Teddy, some sort of fox terrier cross. He was a very gentle boy, and loved pats. c:

I like the filter that you used but I usually suggest shooting in RAW so you get the full detail and it doesn't compress the image. Very nice though and great takes c:

I have no idea what RAW is. xD
I pretty much just set the camera to the "close up" or "portrait" option and take photos.

I edited these in photoshop afterwards, so a lot of the added effects weren't on the original photos... if that's what you mean by filter. xD

It's just a file type high-end cameras have that retain the quality of the image at the highest resolution.

Oh okay xD I thought you used a lens filter to do it

Is there a setting on the camera that you can change so it shoots in RAW, then? I'd have no idea. xD

It's usually in the settings of a Digital SLR camera such as the Canon T2i and Nikon D6 series (high end) but if you're not sure you can just google it
