Description ...because unicorns are just that awesome.
This heavily-modded Ghoulia is a project I started way back at the beginning of summer... and then set aside for months. I just recently dug her back out and finished her.
Her mods are as follows: fur/hooves sculpted over legs, and horn/ears sculpted over toothpicks inserted/set into head. She also got a little blue blush, a faceup complete with war paint, and hand-dyed blue wool locks glued to her head.

I'm startling to mod my own MH dolls, and have a question. What kind of clay do you use to sculpt on the legs and such? I've tried sculpey, but over time it melts the plastic (idk why, but it does it every time).

Apoxie Sculpt. It's a two-part sculpting compound that doesn't need to be baked. It's commonly used by many kinds of doll artists. It's awesome stuff.

I usually buy it on ebay and it's easily obtained online. It's pretty easy to search for info on it, too. Look up a few tutorials and try to check them out. Protect your skin while working with it, tho. It's fine to touch and handle once it's dry. Protect your lungs when sanding it, too, because it's essentially an epoxy resin compound. You can find safety info online, too.
