Nick and I are doing really good. We're staying in a hotel for now but we'll be driving to his parents' place sometime next week for the holidays. The weather here is a little chilly sometimes, but not nearly as cold as it'd be back home. I brought some money I saved up with me so we're doing okay on groceries and everything.

Right now we're experiencing heavy rain which will freeze in the next 12 hrs or and be closely followed by snow. We have unfortunately found that our roof leaks in our brand new home, and i'll be contacting our sales people in a day or so. The entirety of the incident has me more than a bit peeved, to be honest. We'll just have to hunker down and hope that we don't have too much water damage when it's all over. -_-'

I hope it starts to get nicer outside over there. Freezing rain is very dangerous. Be careful if you have to walk or drive outside, I wouldn't want you getting injured. ;n;
We just got a snow storm yesterday. And here I was thinking that I was leaving all that cold weather behind by coming here, pffsh. We went to go grab our groceries for the week before it got too bad, and we even cooked our first actual real dinner last night. We've been sticking to easy things like sandwiches and instant noodles, so that was exciting! We made a roast beef and potatoes with peas. It was delicious. ;w;
