In the place where it should say the city name, it says "what's your WOEID again?"
How do I fix this?

Okeeey I found how to change that text. Go to your rainmeter skins folder c>users>documents>rainmeter>skins>SphynxTheWeatherChannel>resources>includes in all these .txt files find with ctrl+f that text "what's your WOEID again?" and change to your text.

Is there a way to make it show the details on mouse hover as the default when the mouse is not hovered on the widget?

Can't get it to work. No matter what link I put in from weather.com, it always goes back to Caracas.

there might have been changes to the The Weather Channel feed. i don't use Windows/Rainmeter anymore, so i neither can help nor do i care.

Nix that. I was using the autodetect module, which doesn't work at all for me. The three Country modules work fine. Great skin. Thanks.

Great! Is there any way to have to always display the detail seen on "mouse over"? THX

yes, but that would require editing the code.
can't tell you how though as i am not using Windows anymore.

this skin reads the Windows registry to find out whether it should display imperial or metric measures.
i assume your Windows regional setting is set to English (United States).
you can fine tune these settings like this:Β yadi.sk/i/rUQC_J48nd8CC
after you applied the change, refresh the skin

visit weather.com . choose your city. look at the address in browser to find the variable.
