the shade of purplyblue of the background complements the pale yellow of the flower really well. and i like the focus very much. as well as the composition, it would have been a bit boring with the flower smack dab in the middle. the bud of the flower is so cute....looks like many miniature versions of the flower!

First of all i gotta say i like that you take pics of flowers, most men wouldn't, second, i like this. Its not the "perfect" flower that everyone loves, and thats why i like it. Its almost got character. It seems to say to me hi i am mr flower I am old and i have a story to tell you, and i am pulling up my chair to listen intently. Great work.
