Description
Here's the second part of my Sword Fighting series. I will eventually merge these together into one movie but for now I'm doing it in parts. I haven't introduced the story yet but he's fighting living armors, so no bloods. Done in flash, enjoy!*Since a lot of people are asking the same thing I'll answer it here. This was done in Flash 8 using a wacom tablet, I did it in my free time at work off and on in a few days. This is all hand drawn and not symbol based as I have no idea how to animate using flash symbols. Actually I only know the basic drawing tools, I'm sure there's some other fancy schmancy tools that are there but I'm just using what I know.

The short looks longer then 6 seconds and the fighting between to characters is creative to me. Amazing job.

This is great. Personally, I think that traditional animation usually looks better then motion tweening anyway. It's a tribute to your skill if you can draw each frame by hand.
Speaking of fancy schmancy tools, do you know about 'onion skinning'?

I've always thought of it as a 'display option', but I guess you could call it a tool. It's one of those features that you are likely to miss unless you either have used some good tutorials or like clicking on buttons to see what they do.

Impressive! It is well flowing animation that is nicely smooth but, I would comment that it is not really good for swordfighting, too much sword edge on edge contact and the buckled is not utilised in blocking.
Other than that, keep up with the good work, can't wait to see it finished!

Nicely done, as usual! He stays in the air during the spin/sword throw a bit too long, though. It breaks the scene a touch. You could probably just lower a few of the frames where he "sticks" in one exact spot in the air and it will fix it. Just to keep the overall arc moving, instead of it going all "Matrix" all of a sudden.
