Description

A large but very passive river predator. During the hunt, it submerges under the water and, like a sponge, begins to absorb some of the water in its bag on its neck. The bag swells up and forms a "pocket" in which the fish gets in with almost no chance to get out. Especially large specimens of these creatures can even block the riverbed. When the bag is full of fish, the creature closes it and leaves the water, lying in the heat. There it gradually gets rid of the rest of the water, squeezes and grinds the fish with rows of teeth. When they are hungry, they can "hoard" some of the fish for later, creating a special solution inside the bag of rotting fish. At such times, the sack is completely blocked, and Seine begins to hunt exclusively with the main mouth on its head.
