Moloko-satany. Actually in the codex the trooptype-mark(or what ever it is) is usually in the right shoulderpad, and the symbol on the left.
Also cheers for the author for a nice picture, IΒ΄m not a big fan of the weird colours of the bolters muzzle flashes, but itΒ΄ll do.

just a question why are they using preheresy bolters?

well i know you arent a warhammer nut or anything, but the new pattern bolters have shorter muzzles, longer banana clips, and also they should have like the troop symbols or something on right shoulderpad, usually, sorry been playing for 8 years and im super nitpicky
but otherwise this is better than some games workshop stuff ive seen by far

nice work! has a frazetta feel to it; the green lasbolts and depth to the marines-in-action are so believable, and the orange sun/planet in the backtground SO frames the piece
