edited: i scanned this so the quality is better. hopefully you guys dont mind me reupdating thisTook forever to ink. Took forever to color.
I wanted to do a whole bunch of these for my characters. x_x Maybe some day......Well to all you folks out there who thinks i can't do BACKGROUNDS.........T0T I pulled my mind out in this one.....my composition in this art is very off. It was the character then the background. So it's a little messed up.
SORry for the poor quality of the image. My scanner can't scan something THAT BIG. it's a poster size actually. :sweat: I'm gonna spray it with permenant color thingy and then find a frame for it.
The blending of colors was the hardest.
I used:
Prisma skin tone color markers
Crayola markers for the rose bush and other stuff
Crayola color pencil for blending in the carpet and hair.
Liquilex color pencil for blending. Its actually quite useful.
and......
edited with photoshop since I cant scan it.
well i'm tired and the picture is taking for ever to load. so night

Wow, I nevr seemt o find good ol' pencil & paper drawings anymore. I love the leaves and flowers in theorground, great expression as well. I don't get where you can say the composition is off as I can't see anything off about it. If you're going to look at the rule of thirds, I'd say that all of your focal points are spot on ^_^
IN any case, this is beautiful and I'm keeping it forever

well i cropped it a bit and see what's it like without the stairs and stuff. the composition is off because when you draw something of a main subject you should focus only on the main subject. But in the pictures there's a lot distraction and it takes your attention off the main subject thus the composition is off.
thats what my photo teacher taught me.
