Well I'm on a kick with this old art stuff.i decided to redraw something old again, so I pull out some of my binders and I get to 2007 and this gem pops out at me.
As you can see from it's progress back then, I had say...30 minutes of work left on it. Why didn't I finish it then? Dying markers? Maybe. Lazy? Yes.
Um. I drew it in my first hour Psychology class early senior year. It was online, so I pretty much just sat on dA the whole class. I brought my markers and everything. I had a rough summer as far as being a high school girl involving dumb guys and dumb myself. So this was like...inner turmoil...battle with myself kinna junk.
And I had been watching Gladiator a lot to get myself through my oh-so-horrible-nevar-gonna-get-through-this struggle.
Odille vs. Alice. oh yeaah.
i wish I drew this now. I feel that this was beyond my skill level at that time...I love this.

I like the feeling of size, the huge open space behind the two characters. It really brings the focus in toward them.
