So, again part of my nearly-pure-fantasy setting. For this time we have basque national state. Trying to remain neutral and conflicting only with Hispania(in this univesre basques even have irridenta in south), Euskadia relies mostly on mining industry, metallurgy and almost a thousand and a half years-old whaling.
The currency, diezma, means literally "1/10", referring to old silver coins worth one tenth of golden one.
There is a unicameral parliament, but no constitution or legal parties. Instead of them thera are semi-official parliamentary factions. Errege Zirkulu or Royal Circle is some kind of centre-rightists, loyal to royal family.
