I really like the way youre doing the crosshatching. I always try to do it over the hole paper in long lines, but you prefer short lines and the result with these patterns is quite nice!
You're also good in drawing humans, I always have probs with them...Also the shading on the clothes is awesome.
The mood is so calm..nothing moves..a warm breese touches your skin..<3
But I think it would look better if your would darken the background some more.
