Well, these dwarf are very good! Although the right one is a bit skinny for my taste. Though he is different from "classic" dwarf which is cool. Anyway, I really love your work and am looking forward to seeing more from ya.
And yeah, I am too really stunned by your skills and wanna be a bit like you. Though school helps) SAdly I have real troubles with spare time for that.

Hi there and thank you for your kind words. im glad you like those dwarfs. To tell the truth, it was specified, that one of them is..mm.. bulkier, so one has to be bit slender. He uses a bow as well as warhammer (never sucseeded in finding place for a bow on the picture ))) so he has to be more agile, than regular dwarf. He bigger one is warrior allright.
Yeah... time is an issue.. the older the more.

Now I get it! Cool ) YOu could have placed short bow in a quiver on his ankle) Rus warrior style or maybe mongolian, not sure ([link] ) or alternetevely over his shoulder like in AC3 ([link] )

on his ankle? )) dont think so.. i considered a back, but.. with that armor i gave him, getting a bow from behind might be quite troublesome... so i decided that he chooses weapon before each adventure ))))

Very good design of dwarfs!!!
They r not so blockish like the most i ve seen.
Love as always your details in your drawings.

Just one question:

How long does it take, to get skills like yours?
"i m drawing since some years now, without any teaching, and looking forward to study maybe concept artist...i must also present a portfolio (advanced technical college),
and i do not really know if my skill in drawing is good enough...can you give any tips in what i should work on, or what is important?

First - thanks, i really appreciate your comment.
It takes time, thats for sure, but.. i can only judge from my perspective. Look, im 27 and i think im pretty average, i can draw a thing or two, but nothing fancy. im stuck with any bigger or more difficult challenge, however ive seen works of 23 yo'ds here, on dA and in hard copies that are so skillful, so...mature... so...artistically impressive and of such quality, that it takes my breath away. So it differs, really. Then, you have.. or rather youd better study, thats im sure of. Ive done mostly graphics, b\w with a pen.. sometimes a tablet. Im using tablet rarely these days ((, but now i went to drawing school by local art gallery and.. man... ive learned alot from first lesson than in years before. Even though weve done only a sketch and watercolor overpaint.
So, my advice, find some classes and draw draw draw what you like, how you can, as much as you can and you will eventually get there! -))

Yeah, it s really true. I ve seen here also some badass works of younger people, this shows that talent plays also a big role, but i will follow your advice and try to draw as much as i can. And i also think that a visit to the drawing school is necessary. but first i need to earn some money ...anyway, thank you so much for your answer and advice!!!
