I've just discovered I'm not the only Playmobil addict on DA... so, in order to celebrate the fact that I've found some of these strange people here, I'm uploading a pic of our Batcave...this pic was taken in 2008, this was what our Playmobil Town looked like at the time
For those of my watchers and friends who are not especially interested in seeing my Playmobils, don't worry, I'm not gonna upload a lot of stuff here, maybe seasonal / holidays small scenes to fit with the mood and weather, but not much, really...
For Playmobil fans and / or people who like the fact that Nutty Mina has a room full of Playmobils in her appartment, you can visit our blog, which I've just begun (the one we had before was on a server that got shut down and, after a few months, I've finally decided to make a new one)... anyway, feel free to come and see us on [link]

Danke sehr für deinen "comment" ... wir haben dieses Haus in einem Shop, wo es viele alte Playmobils, die waren nicht mehr gemacht, gab... wenn der Mann, der diesen Shop hatte, in Ruhestand ging, er hat alles aus dem Keller genommen, und wir waren glücklich, so, dieses Haus in 2003 ganz neu zu finden
ich möchte gern auch mehr von deiner Sammling sehen... und ja, wir haben viele Playmobil, abor wir haben viele Kollegen, die uns die Playmobils von ihren "zu alt für Playmobil" Kindern geben

I've never seen so many buildings aside from catalogs. That's neat to see them all together like that.

Hey I'm 41 years old and still love it. It was my favorite toy as a kid! Still have all my stuff from childhood. You have an impressive collection! Loving it!!

I have just about everything from childhood, actually. I first discovered Playmobil through McDonald's. They started, in the early 80s, to give away Playmobils in their Happy Meals. My first figure was a cavalry soldier guy, and I still have him.
That got me hooked. I then got some Indians, a farmer, a cowboy...then for Christmas in 1982 I asked for a set that had a fort and an Indian Village. I think it was called "Fort Union Grand Deluxe." I still have that set too. Played with it a LOT.
I always liked the Western themed sets, my brother liked the pirate stuff. I ended up with all the pirate stuff too.
I still collect Playmobil, actually, and have finally found a spot in my house to set up sort of a western scene. I hope to get some photos on here if I can get any decent ones.

Yes I do! I'm not in a place now where I can display, but I still actively collect. Right now I have the Victorian house and a pirate ship, my sister has a castle, and I've been picking up odds and ends of people and vehicles for a while.
Also! Can't wait to see the next one!

it's not very often I meet someone who likes Playmobil, too
odds and ends make a great collection at the end, I think... we often get some from people whose kids are "too old to play with Playmobils"
your comment reminds me I really should write a new article for the Playmobil blog... I'll do that next week
