Description Hey Guys
So, as I've told you in a journal, we went walking and hiking during our holidays 2 weeks ago... On Thursday, we went to "visit" the peat bog (now a Nature Preserve, but it was, until the end of the 2nd World War, used to produce heating material) in les Ponts-de-Martel, a village that's not far from our town (about 15 minutes by car).
The weather was wonderfully warm for the season (about 15 Celsius degrees) and we had a lot of fun... here is one of the pics I want to show you, one of the biggest ponds halfway between winter and spring

- in my "Everyday Beauties" section, I don't mean to make Art Photography, I simply want to share with you the beautiful things I see in my everyday life...
Just to show, and remind myself, that every day has a surprise, a beautiful something awaiting round the corner...

Let's hope no animal thinks of walking unto the ice around the bog.

I think they all know pretty well how to swim

There are mostly birds around... we spotted a fox, too, but many, many birds

BIRDS WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! MFG: Just kidding!

I never really seen a fox before. You're fortunate to have seen one.

well, you never know

here, you can see them quite often, since our town is surrounded by forests... at dawn or twilight, it's not so rare to spot one in the distance

Well, I hope I can see one someday. I bet you be lucky to get a photo of them prancing about in the forest.

I've already had the occasion to take pictures, but in this case they were far away, so the pics only showed 3 tiny specks of orange on the grass... they could have been flowers

That's one reason why you really have to be good at taking pictures of wildlife. One moment, they're there. The next, they're gone!

Lovely shot! And it makes me all the more impatient for spring to come around the bend! Although, as much as I'll always complain about winter, I do have some appreciation for the changing of the seasons. It's a work of art to watch them unfold, and I think I would miss that change if I was in an area that had a more steady year-round climate.
