Another project I'm working on at the moment (yes, I know, I can't stick with 1 or 2 projects... I'm not happy unless I have many things to work on at the same time... and besides, this one goes well with the long summer hours on our balcony: I have less work and I enjoy drawing while listening to the birds...)

I've always loved "learn to draw" or "step-by-step drawing" books... we have bought a few ones at WDW (Mickey, Minnie, Princess movies, Pixar, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey and friends,...), I often watch videos and tutorials on the internet... and I have this little "Frozen" white notebook I bought a few years ago that has lovely pages for sketching (not for coloring) but is too big to fit in my bag... so I've decided to use it to practice drawing cartoon charas, just because it makes me happy, it's quick when I don't have much time or don't want to concentrate for too long on something...

I will be using a blue pencil I got with the "Minnie Mouse Sketchbook Kit" at WDW in 2006, because, from what I heard (and from what you see on videos about /made by professional animators), this type of blue pencil is great for sketching, almost no smudging and a good glide on paper... and besides, it gives me the feel I'm a super pro who knows what she's doing

So I chose a Pixar chara for the first page, Mike Wazowski, the adorable and funny and really intelligent monster I always want to hug
