Both versions are wonderful but i prefer the first version, a bit more evocative for me. Really good, technicals and emotional both, and so good representation of the scene. Also good effects on the movements, for example the skirt and hairs

WOW!!Β Hi, I was looking for an Eowyn concept that captures her strong and power. Something very different from the movie. Something that came from an unique mind and imagination. And I found it in your art.Β
I manage a geek fan page, My Geek Hunter, and I would love to post your art next March 8th due to International Women Day.Β I will give you credit on the post. PleaseΒ let me know if you are OK with this.
Congratulations for the scene.
Thank you.

I like this as an illustration of the emotional moment of the book. I appreciate that you have not necessarily made it a literal illustration of the moment.Β

they are both amazing, even if i'd say i prefer this one, dunno why, mmm maybe more defined and i like the sword design more than the other ^^
They're still both great artworks
ah wait, just a tip
Eowyn was disguised as a male knight, so well, uhm, ehr, how to say, her chest's shape has probably looked strange to the other Rohirrims XD

yeah I know it's not "cannon" it's just my view as I liked to paint her as an obvious woman warrior...

^^ reminds me a picture about that part, made by Frank Franzetta
it was awesome, i love Franzetta's art, but well Eowyn's butt and girly legs were completely exposed xD i imagined the other knights "friend you have a really feminine lower body for being a super manly rohan's knight " XD

Very dramatic and dynamic, like the scene should be. I love your use of colors and the play of light and dark!

Great stuff. I love the juxtaposition of the light and dark that separates the two characters, especially Eowyn's hair, which is such a pure offset to the Witch King.

This is my new favourite LotR fanart - it not only depicts one of my favourite scenes, it also has a very unique take on the Witch-King of Angmar. Nazgul tend not to lend themselves well to improvisation - there are only so many things one can do with "black robes, covered from head to toe, no face"...
