that I had previously only known him from.

Do you recommend Krita for a beginner? Is it easy to learn?

Yes, But Contains a big amount of tools, that may look a bit complex to handle it early but these are very comfortable and simple to use.
Give it a bit of time to know it's pencils and brushes to get what u are looking for.

The brushes are really adaptable and fun. It's as easy to learn as anything else, put time into it, get to know it.
