Description
This is a 42x18mm Blue Goldstone cabochon wrapped in sterling silver wire. I happily stumbled upon this stone today. I knew I had to get this stone immediately. I wanted to make a wrap that didn't block all the pretty bluish sparklies, but still wanted it a bit fancy-ish. So after a scrapped wrap and hours (I think about 2 or 3 maybe??) this took form. I'm just glad it's over with already!

This piece got it's name from the stone's appearance. To me, it reminds me of a dark midnight sky, with billions of twinkling stars. The "stars" (or sparklies on the stone that resembled stars to me) can't normally be seen where I am every night. So it's more like a dream. (Sorry about the photo- it is really hard to take a pic of goldstone at night )
Doesn't it look like millions of twinkling stars in a deep sky to you, or is it just me?

This pendant is a bit large for my taste (I prefer some of my more smaller works for size) as it is nearly 3" long. I decided I'll sell this, or it could possibly be a gift.

*EDIT* I tried to take a better picture in the morning sun, and Blue Goldstone looks absolutely amazing in the sunlight, so many more glittery colors. I guess it's just another stone you have to see in person to love.
