This is 's Glowy char, Jonah. Normally I tend to softshade this sort of stuff, but for some reason I think the hard edged shadows kinda suit her.

I'd say this is my "normal" shading style, actually. With more complex drawings I just blend the hard-edged shading in certain areas. But for at least a little while every one of my drawings looks like this.

They can be fun, but the way I do them is so simple that sometimes I feel like I'm cheating, haha. Maybe I should find a way to develop and detail hard-edge shadows more.

It can certainly be done with more flair, but that doesn't mean that they have to be. They look wonderfully stylized on this character.
