This is a beautiful alien landscape, that has many aspects which I feel might go unnoticed by me. One thing that really strikes me, is the way you've captured the Mie scattering. I love the way that the background fades and blue shifts; in contrast to the warmer colours and the detail the closer we get to the foreground. This contrasting effect really adds to the overall depth to the piece which is a mark of your ability as an artist. I get the vision that this is a gas giant moon, like Titan, or perhaps a binary planetary system which is very cool either way. Your colour choices are very beautiful and show your knowledge of colour theory; Judging by your colour choices you went for a more Triadic or split complementary colour scheme?
Awesome Piece!
The only negative, I would personally add a little more environmental details here and there.
