Don't you just love how black stands out against bright silver? It really makes the details stand-out. And that's what inspired this piece.

The entire thing is silver with black engraved stitches, golden screws, gold rivet, two gold and brass gears on the side, very fine antique bronze ballchain, and corrugated metal textures. The heart itself has a little bit of a "tail" to it in which it curls off to the side to add a little bit of and femininity to such an industrial looking piece. There is also a bit of "scuffing" to add a bit of texture.

This lovely silver heart has been created from polymer clay and finished up to look like antique silver. It has then been glazed with polyurethane for a very nice shine, and re-baked to really make the finish rock hard and durable.
