Yes, excellent points from the other comments here. This is totally homo... because apparently two guys can't be good friends without having some forced undertones and all social contact exists solely for the purpose of sex because -bullshit!
This is an excellent picture. I think it's great because you can see they're pretty damn happy. They look like old friends enthusiastically catching up before heading out to have a great time! It's nice to see a picture of these Solo not posing dramatically at the camera. It doesn't feel forced, looks really cheery.
I also love the style! I'm not great at doing the bold black shading, and I like how you've done it on Lando's shirt too - I'll have to remember that the next time I don't want to blend colours so much. Noses are rad, as well. Love it. Traditional art is super.

Thanks! I think some of the other comments here have been pretty lame. This image actually comes from a promotional photo taken for Empire. So anyone who has a problem with this drawing should look at the original phot and bitch about that.
As for the shading with the gray. I like to use a light and a dark and maybe 1 middle tone. I don't like to go overboard. And I tried to let some if the black underneath do the talking.
