Shot through glass? You mean like a sort of lens? I go to the Field several times a year and there's never been any glass casing around this mount for as long as I've seen it up.

Can you explain how the title connects to the subject of the photograph? I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but I get the impression that there is an unspoken and decidedly negative implication.

The title is actually a reference to the first Jurassic Park film. There is a character named Robert Muldoon (played by Bob Peck) in the film, and the first line he speaks in the film is "They should all be destroyed" - he was of course referring to the Velociraptors in the film.
I know that this reconstructed fossil display I've shot a photo of is not an actual Velociraptor (because in actuality, they are much smaller and built differently - this is actually a Deinonychus Fossil) - but I applied the title to this photo because the Deinonychus looks very similar to the velociraptors that were depicted in the Jurassic Park film.
I am a huge fan of paleontology and dinosaurs and all extinct critters. I have a major love and respect for history and did not mean to imply anything negative as you may have initially understood it

Thanks! Deinonychus was always my favourite mount to build. I am terrified of heights so I always preferred the little critters.

Yup. I worked at RCI when we got the contract for Sue. We were the team responsible for moulding casting and mounting the copies, including the mount at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I built 5 copies of Sue that year!!

That is awesome! I visit Florida once a year (to see family), so I see the Sue mount at Disney's Animal Kingdom at least once a year. That's very cool to know that you had a hand in putting her together
