Description Scylla and her whirlpool counterpart Charybdis resided in a narrow channel of water, so narrow that all passing ships had to go near one of the two monsters. Scylla would devour six crew members, but Charybdis would destroy the entire ship.

Some retellings have Scylla born as a beautiful nymph loved by the sea-god Glaucus, but turned into a monster by a jealous Circe.
Regardless of how she was born, Scylla is usually stated to be the daughter of Phorcys.

I like how you incorporated the fact that her extra heads come out of her nether bits...that part tends to get left out of modern retellings, can't imagine why

Scylla was one of her father's favorites, so much so that, when she was slain by Heracles, her father applied a magic torch to her body to restore her to life.

Ovid wrote that she was a sea nymph, and that Glaucus tried in vain to woe her, so he went to Circe for potion-help. When Circe listened to him emote about his dilemma, she fell in love with him, and become enraged when he made it clear that his heart already belonged to Scylla. So, Circe put the hextuple whammy on Scylla, partly out of insane jealousy, and partly out of vengeance for Glaucus loving someone who didn't love him back.

Boy, these Greeks sure can't make up their mind can they? I read she fell in love with Posiedon and was cursed by his wife, Amphitrite.
By the way, I've made my own drawing of the maiden-ish version of Scylla, would you check it out and tell me what you think? [link]
