Description Fits a 23-24" head. The nose CAN be used for the finished head, it sticks out far enough and is completely textured. Otherwise it can be popped out and replaced with a silicone nose or something, which I also can make. ^^

Will fit a cut down wolf taxidermy jawset

I can sell these two different ways: Cut and uncut. Either right out of the mold, or cut out like this one.

Uncut: $85
Cut: $100

omg i found you! im talking to my mom and when she gets money im so getting one of the uncut ones from you... seeing as how im new in fursuiting and im making a husky character im going to try to get a head eyes a toungue teeth hand and feet pads from you... sadly your tail commissions are not open so i have to try at that (oh goodie) but i wondered if i could get some tips... most other fursuiters are too busy / stuck up to answer me and i wondered if we could chat either over here or over aim... you were my inspiration to try to make a suit... and beastcub got me wanting a quad but... that looks a little too hard for a newbie like me... and a foam head looks hard / almost impossible with my clumsiness but i had a few questions... like how smooth is your hinge jaw movements? and would you sell the head with the hinge not attached... i read a wile ago that you would sell it but i wasnt sure... ^.^ ill leave you alone and im sorry for pestering you but i hope to talk to you soon ♥

we do sell cut blanks without them hinged, also, if you're wondering about tail tutorials and such, the best place to look really is the fursuit livejournal, because there are a ton of tips/tricks/tutorials found on there, perfect for beginners!

i know about the blanks uncut cut and then cut and hinged but i would have no idea how to make my jaw move so i wondered two things how well do the jaws work... like when you talk do they move with every movement or only when you open your mouth wide? and id like to get the uncut because its cheaper but id have no way to hinge it... seeing as how ive never done it before and would have no clue where to start... if you could buy hinges separate and attach them yourself? like i know you have a youtube video where your talking about attaching it... so i wondered if you would sell them cuz i couldnt find a price on your site for them id like to know how much you would sell a pair for... already everything i want to order from you equals out to around 200 bucks and i still need to be able to afford fur foam and other supplies XD

Monoyasha In reply to Kaiserinthedragoness [2012-02-21 17:25:39 +0000 UTC]

if your really worried about how to hinge your mask then you should get the cut and hinged to save the trouble. we do sell the hinges on our webstore on the same section as the resin masks. [link]
We have multiple videos online of the jaw movement which moves extremely well. [link]

ok last questions for now until i know if i can order from your wonderful selection or not... when you order the hinges do you get 2? or is it you have to pay $8 for each? and thank you so much for answering to me.. i know your probably horribly busy so im trying to make my questions as short as possible!

im so sorry to bother you but i have one more question when getting the 3cm eyes can you get a double set with the pupil on one set so i can make them into "follow me" eyes?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Monoyasha In reply to Kaiserinthedragoness [2012-02-23 00:47:06 +0000 UTC]

you can always just order 3D eyes

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Monoyasha In reply to Kaiserinthedragoness [2012-02-23 00:47:01 +0000 UTC]

thats what a 3D 3cm eye is which is available on our webstore too.

Kaiserinthedragoness In reply to Monoyasha [2012-02-23 02:49:38 +0000 UTC]

ah i didnt know the difference between the regular resin eyes and 3d xD... just to be sure the 3cm resin eye blanks are not "follow me" but the 3cm 3d resin eyes will produce the "follow me" effect?
im so sorry i sound stupid i just dont want to get the wrong thing and be unhappy with my suit XD

Oh wow, I'm so glad I found this.

I've got a quick question, since I'm kinda just now learning about suit making (assuming this could be used for a fursuit head :'D ).
So, if I bought one of these (hoping you'll be selling them in the future, seeing as I cannot purchase one now), would I be able to put cartoony/semi-cartoony eyes on them? Or are they built specifically for realistic eyes?

I hope it's not a dumb question, and excuse me for taking your time. ;u;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Monoyasha In reply to CaptainAble [2011-12-20 01:34:35 +0000 UTC]

its best to ask these questions before buying so its not dumb ^-^ yes you could install toony eyes on these masks as long as you build up the face more to accommodate for the larger eye size using foam.

do you have times where the mask is cheaper than $100 (cut) or is it like that all the time like x-mas sales or whatever

Monoyasha In reply to RouKon13 [2011-12-07 22:40:11 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I see. Sometimes we will put things on sale, but it's usually just premade items; we try to keep our prices cheap all year round.

Beautiful base, would it be possible for me to reference this as I practice creating my own? Been researching various ways to make a moving jaw canine head, and I think resin base is how I'll go about doing the most realistic effect.

Also, would you recommend directly furring a resin base, or adding padding like foam to build up the head shape and then furring?

What size eyes of yours would fit into the eye sockets, and what size nose?
Also, can you buy the taxidermy jaw and send with it or do we have to source that seperately (I know it's not included in price)
What sort of hinged jaw would you recomend for this base?

Thank you for your time c:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Monoyasha In reply to HuanLang [2011-10-07 11:44:51 +0000 UTC]

basic hinge tutorial: [link]
I don't buy the jawsets to send with the masks, you'll have to order from vandykes yourself. These masks will fit both 3cm 3D, 3cm, 4cm ed and 4cm eyes. A medium k9 nose works best.

^-^ yep!
But the website is blocked by my university, so I have to wait until I find a different connection XD
When I buy the resin eyes, are they fully made, I just have to place them, or do I buy the blanks and paint them myself?

Monoyasha In reply to HuanLang [2011-10-07 15:49:59 +0000 UTC]

I am currently only open for blanks, and I'm not sure when i'll have time to do painted eyes again, sorry. xD
