Been a while since I had some Kuroshitsuji fanart, eh? o,oI give up on trying to decide if this classifies as one person or two.
Based off the lyrics 'This is a gift, it comes with a price' from the song Rabbit Heart by Florence and the Machine~ The song itself doesn't really remind me of William at all, but that line (lines?) kept bringing the image of William and Younger!William (from the OVA) up in my head for some reason =A=
I'm pretty satisfied with this, but there are some things I could definitely improve on (like hands. Ohgog, I can't draw hands lately) and the composition seems a little.....wonky but it's not absolutely bad I think. Some of the shadows are strange. And younger William looks an awful lot like Alan D:
This took more of my life from the start of the first sketch to the finished image than I care to note. I redrew this about seven times before I got something I thought was worthy to lineart and color >>
I've done a lot of silly things in the name of art....but pulling out the shoes I use for my William cosplay as a reference for his shoes in this now tops the list.
Bonus points if you can guess what is written across the background o,o Hint: It has absolutely nothing to do with the song Rabbit Heart or it's lyrics.
