Thanks for your comments and I do like constructive criticism, yes the text was added after and its a bit of a pain getting the perspective right! I know what you mean about the dark edges but it does help to add impact and focuses more attention on the subject.
I would love it to be commercial work although that is part of the reason for shooting the cars to try and break into making it pay.
Every image from this series worked because it was just one of those days, the car was just so photogenic and the weather on the day was fabulous (in between the hail showers.. and cold) and I had pre-visualized some of the shots. I could post another 6 shots easily. In all the shoot took 2 1/2 hours at 2 different locations so to get so many from that time I am more than pleased.
Yet the next week I photographed a mates Subaru Impreza and struggled to make it look good, the end result is ok-ish, i'll be posting them soon.

That is so sweet!! Every image from this series is stunning. Did you add the text to the license plate afterwards?
Anyway the only thing I think might have made it better was if the edges weren't so intensely darkened. I'm mainly having issues with the right side, the tree and what's around it is a little unpleasantly dark, and I don't really like the yellow cast in part of the clouds above it.
But still man.. these images are really tight! Was it commercial work?
