Oh my gosh! Look at those rasor blade fins! This is one impressive killer machine. And to think my Chibi Tutani could become just like that with a drop of special Potion...
So it really is you who was behind the Tutani? THANK YOU! No really, Thank You! I've been looking out for several years for an aquatic creature of some kind. It wasn't quite the seahorse I had been praying for, but ya know, Tutanis are pretty cool too.. ;D

To be honest, now that I think of it, a seahorse would've been better. The thing is, to release new species to to "guarantee" it's popularity, there is certain factors/certain things that we need to take in count. The reason why there is more canines, felines, then rodents of petsites is because every animal artist can draw those(or almost all). They need to have designs that are appealing enough and easily customisable at the same time.
Most people don't take interest in a seashorse pet online because most of the time, they can draw it in an anthro form or humanoid, are any of the new tendancies. They're not easily customisable, and artists who're comfortable with drawing seahorses are rare. ;__;
(See the Mallarchy? It has a amazing design, in my opinion, but it's still a duck. That's kindof what I'm talking about. People would get real ducks IRL because they're cute and a "rare" pet, but online, not everyone enjoys having a duck fro a pet when they have access to a demon or a unicorn and maltese puppy breed!)
I really want to draw seahorses now. Damn you! ;_; -opens art program to doodle-
Anyway, sorry for the uber long comment and thank you for your kind comment <3 (Tu parles français hein? XD)

I see what you mean about the designs needing to be customisable and also attractive and appealing. I'm not sure that many people would really be interested in a seahorse virtual pet anyway. Not when you have rather exotic and unusual creatures already available.
I was lucky enough to find a Subeta Artist who was willing to draw a custom item of a seahorse for me. Tianaroo drew this bright pink one that I keep on my profile at all times. ^-^ I don't even know why I particularly like seahorses. Perhaps because not many do? lol What a lame reason! He he! Or perhaps it's because it's the male who does all the giving birth blabla and I quite fancied that idea.
Thanks for taking the time to write out that comment! I wonder if mine beats yours in length? ;D Oh and if you do get a chance to draw a few seahorse scribbles, I'd love to see a few! n_n
Take Care! ~Jo

The twisted swirly markings are a nice touch. They remind me of like... the really 'gothic' art styles you see. XD
Its expression is so cool, haha X3 It looks like a really intelligent shark.
