So I got off my butt and decided to try for another guitar, just because I had so many people offer to pay me for it if my first one had turned out alright.
This is what I have so far... most of the body, including the board and frets... I still need to add the bridge. What set me back the most is that some random jackass decided to dig their fingers into it... and completely marred half of the body. By the time I had class again and found it, the clay had dried too much to work with it, so I put wet paper towels on it... which kept drying out, and by the time I finally got to the clay when it was wet enough to work with.. it was too wet, and pretty much just mush.
(Oh, and as for the note, I left that for whoever maimed it.)

So this is where I stand:
I have a marred guitar that I can't work with... if I add any more water, it'll turn into mush and probably mold. But if it gets too dry, I can't do anything with it. I found air bubbles in a couple spots, which makes me anxious, but I'm gonna poke little holes into where I think they are before I fire it and hope they get out.

...I think I can nearly go ahead and add this to my already long list of failed sculptures.
