Description Finally I managed to draw a little bit. I started this one back in 2004 after I had seen the film Seabiscuit. But somehow I got overwhelmed by the project.
A few months ago I saw the great film again on TV and it inspired me to continue the drawing.
I'm not satisfied with the background and the sweater. They don't look real enough. But I hope you like it anyway.

I think the background is fine. Adding more detail to it would possibly draw attention away from the main subjects.

Also, wonderful range of values! This drawing is both technically strong and very expressive. I love it!
