Yes, i know this feeling, i have it so often thruout my day. I have a brain injury, and other health issues, and i feel like my mind is disintegrating, but no one knows it, even me, all people see is the beautiful butterfly, they don't see the parts of me that are falling apart, going mad. They don't see the sadness, the loss of control - they don't see that my brain is disabled, so they don't understand that i can't just "buck up" and pull myself together. It's like, one day, i will fall to dust particles, and then, they'll get it, but my butterfly soul will be gone, and it will be too late.

I think this politely, yet bluntly illustrates the disease.
Was my first thought.

In some cultures the butterfly is the symbol for the soul, os to me this image makes perfect sense.
