sice L`s death the anime was terrible ):
that was the worst thing the mangaka could do....
L was the best character and by killing him the mangaka endet the storry.

My view on the anime literally went like:    
when the girl came in all hung up on Light and annoying
It ruined it for me so I just gradually stopped watching it and read the rest on Wikipedia
