Very minimalistic, by using the cutout (of what ever what was cropped from the rest of the pic) actually ends up as a great result aesthetically. To me, this stark palette of tinted black and white scales ,with the good use of empty space allows you to really focus on the intricacy of all of the details and spiraling and intertwining work. The uber organic look and combination of mechanical bits is actually more akin to a mixture of styles present in the artistic film 'Fantastic Planet' (please Wiki this movie and watch it, it is awesome) and also the dark mechanical works of Terry Gilliam (Spell check on last name, but some of his most famous works have been with Monty Python, and is well known for his dark mechanical stark look). Overall, I would love to see more of this from you as it is rare to see a great balance of this kind of style ,detail, and abstract look.
Keep up the great work.
