yes. The only Metrocon I know of is in Tampa.

I was at that same event a few days ago. It's very nice.
Now that I think about it, Tampa Bay and Republic City aren't much different from each other.

I wasn't finished. They are modern, multicultural/ethnic, and many other things. Sure, there aren't any element benders in Tampa or St. Pete, but there are streetcars, Sato/automobiles, and a few stadiums, not to mention the usual gap between rich n' poor.
