Midori plopped down next to her friend on the top of the dune. "Ari-chan," she said curiously, "you've been sitting here for the longest time. Toshi is organizing a game -- would you like to play?"

"Hmm?" Ariana blinked, suddenly aware of her presence. "Oh, no thanks, I'm fine here."

Wrinkling her nose, Midori asked, "Are you all right? You never turn down a chance to play sports!"

"Oh, I..." Ariana stopped in mid-sentence and smiled breathlessly.

Staring briefly at Ariana, Midori turned to see what it was that had her friend so fascinated. A wave crashed against the rocks, sending a rooster tail of spray high into the air but as it fell, she could see Kirin wading through the shallows with a fishing net in one hand and a spear in the other. He seemed be having the time of his life and the way his wet garment was clinging to him was... interesting.

"Ah," Midori commented wisely, "you've changed sports."

"mmmmm-HMMMM!"
