Very good Mol! Always love your stuff. I just wonder how you get the muscle tone right by only using shading? I'd imagine you have to think about what parts bugle and are closer to the surface. Like for example in this picture round the cheeky bones. i can never get the colours on mine to blend right XD

Awwww thank you!
This is a very roughly colored sketch, but I usually go about the shading process using a simple formula. I first have one layer of base shading, usually on a multiply layer, and then blend that. It looks quite rough, for a start. Then, I make another layer, on an actual 'shade' layer this time, and go over some of the darker places with the same shade of grey. The opacity will have to be lowered quite a bit for it not to appear black! Blend this layer, too!
After that, I repeat those steps, but with screen and luminosity layers for highlighting. To make things REALLY stand out, I would but a light shade next to one of the darkest ones, if that makes sense!
I'll try to make a video tutorial soon!
