UMIt was a tradeoff with a friend of mine; if I painted them Eren, they'd help me make a cosplay for an upcoming con
I feel bad, Eren is kind of a hard character to paint for some reason ;0; I am not sure this even looks like Eren;;
Legit only cool thing I did was that the titan is coming out of his neck see what I did there

So, I REALLY like this piece. The muted colors and Eren's expression make it seem like he's just exhausted from everything that's happened, both physically and emotionally. The dullness of his eyes seem to show that being in the military is far, FAR more taxing than what he anticipated, especially since he's discovered he's a Shifter.
I also REALLY like the fact that you drew his Titan form like you did, because it shows that the Rogue Titan isn't exactly a hero or a villain, but rather just a creature that falls into that grey area between the two.
One more thing: The overall thing that this portrays seems to show that not only is Eren exhausted, he could also be confused as to what he is. He knows he's gone out of control (nearly killing his adopted sister, even), and that the others like him are DEFINITELY not heroes, but he also knows that he's not evil, either. I think you did a great job portraying his expression; it almost looks like he's wondering, "What am I? Where do I fit in?"
The one thing I have a problem with is actually rather small and inconsequential: One of the straps of his 3DMG straps looks like its been broken, but other than that, AMAZING job!!!

I do think that Eren is a character with a lot of fire and energy to him, and it is tragic to see him lose that. And the confusion he felt when he realized he was a titan himself.
Ah, yes, the strap, aha; it was a slip of my paintbrush and lazy fix But next time I'll keep in mind! Steady arms, steady hands. c:

Oh god I can't believe I've bEEN SO INACTIVE TO MISS THIS !!!
I love how you went with portraying Eren and his alter-titan self. Eren looks so sad and bleak, faded, I just want to give him a hug. And the harsh brush strokes for the titan are brilliant for the symmetry: breakable, weak human and all-powerful, angry, violent titan. Two sides of the same coin, both tragic and dark~.
And wHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, I CAN SEE CLEAR AS DAY THAT IT IS EREN AND NO ONE ELSE BABU!1!!1!!

I adore, ADORE LOVE LOVE your amazing analysis of my art, you gotta make a career out of analyzing work! PLS. That is exactly what I tried to portray, but seriously, you SAY it so much better than I do. Is Eren hard for you? It doesn't seem so to me. You have captured this beautiful sincerity, another kind of sadness and heartache with the right portrait, and oh. I love how you have Eren's personal madness (torment? terror?) on the left-- there's a lot of symbolism there. The left is the side the heart is on, and yet it's also the side historically associated with demons/devils, and...oddness. Other. Very~ good idea my dear.
First impressions: I love Eren's expression. So many people draw him with his sharp eyes and fierce, determined expression...but you've caught the boy who cries when his friends and comrades are killed around all him, the boy who cries unknowingly the day the wall falls....yes, I like this take on him. But there's a turn of a smile in there somewhere. ^_^ Yes, I like this!
OK, onto the parts. I'll start with his titan form this time. ^_^ I like the heavy, bold strokes you used, and the wide brush. I like the harsh angles, the mechanical feel that results from the stark white and dark blacks, and I like how his eyes are black pits. That is very good. One thing I question, tho, is the Really heavy contrast with Eren; I feel like there is almost too much black here this time. There's very little of your usual subtle washes of charcoal gray on the Titan side, and very little jet-black that crosses over the Eren either. Which results in a bit of a top heavy feel to me.
So, back to Eren's clothes now. It's cool that you decided to do soft clothing colors. And the colors of the Survey Corps (that soft green) is underplayed to balance out Eren's lighter coloring too-- that is nicely done.
So, all in all, I really like this one.

I believe you've done an excellent job in conveying a splitting of feelings, like a Jeckyll-and-Hydeish dualism. The muted sickly colours, to me indicative of death, are juxtaposed aside a pitch black aggressiveness.
