What is a llama badge?
Specifically, a llama badge is a small graphic that is displayed in the top-right corner of your profile page.
How do I give someone a llama badge?
On every profile page, with the exception of your own (if you are logged in), you will see a "Give" button in the top-right corner of the page. If you click on it, one of the options is "Give a Llama Badge".
Why do some llamas look different than others?
Depending on the amount of llama badges you have be given, the appearance of your llama will change.

I think this is a fan creation. I do not think there ever was a rainbow llama, though I have seen a post in the suggestions forum about using it for people who attain 100,000 llamas. This is a tall order. I am aware of only 18 users who achieved it and I think that is all of them

Nothing. This was never an official llama level. The only change I know of is when runaway llamas (25,000) were introduced in 2015.

I think they removed the Rainbow Llama Badge because the people from deviantart thought it wouldve been too much of a hassle to get like double the amount of llama badges that you had to win for the golden one. They did now bring a 20K Llama Badge but all it is are a black and albino llama running. So stupid. -_-

It was never an official. Everything up to golden llama was introduced in one day. Runaway llamas (25,000) were introduced in 2015.
