Description
This took a while to finish but now that it's finally finished, I can show it off to people online!To be honest with you guys, this is one of the my favorite drawings in 2020.
It was originally going to just be a blank background but, I decided to stop that and add the backgrounds. I also want to add the shading to the background which in my opinion isn't that bad honestly. I'm proud that I made the decision to do so.
The context in the artwork is obviously plain, Nothing too special, just different colored Yoshis chilling in the forest. This is actually the first time I drew alot of Yoshis with different colors, I wanted to do that last year but that didn't seem to happened.
To further conclude this description, criticism is allowed, Do not trace or steal my artworks, that's not art.

Here goes: I hope I critique is okay.
Starting off, the group of Yoshis in the image are just too cute. Although some of their proportions between different ones are a bit inconsistent, unless, of course, that was the intent.
For the purple mountains, I like the blur, but I would have their colour fade a bit more to give them a better atmospheric perspective.
I'm glad you added shading on the bushes and gave a more distinctive colour to the grass. But some of the shading parts of the bush appear too dark. More specifically the bushes behind the Yoshi group.
The apples are okay, but I somehow feel like you copy and paste them. Don't be afraid to give each apple a bit of different shading, tint, colour, angle, etc. I'd make each of them a bit different for more realism.
That's pretty much all I have to say, thanks for accepting critiques.

I was going to add the variety of colored Yoshi but I somehow didn't, I may do so in future drawings tho.
I supposed your right about the mountains while they do look great, I should've fade the colors a little bit more to give it a full mountain-like atmosphere.
As for the bushes, I can kinda see why you mentioned them being too dark.
The shadows on top of the Yoshis might've caused the bushes to have a darker tone to them.
I guess I should try being cautious with shadows next time.
I'd figure you'd mention the apples.
May as well admit the fact that I did indeed copy and paste them.
I agree that it is a bit lazy to copy the exact same objects numerous times, It's on the same level as using any shape tools to make anything really.
Again you are correct, I suppose playing around with the features for them would help make the artwork stand out.
This is my first time doing backgrounds in awhile since the few last pieces with them.
I like doing new things when it comes to drawing, so I appreciate the constructive criticism. I'll be sure to keep those tips in mind when drawing stuff.

I like getting constructive critiques from people. If it's rather a destructive one, I would take it anyway.

Spectacular scene! This reminds me of an opening to Yoshis Island, a whole bunch yoshers in a peaceful forest clearing. I love this! 💜
