Ok so this is the 3rd in my Disney series!!!of course, this is Jasmine from the movie Aladdin!
i really like the original a LOT better, it had better colors but oh well you get what you get! this took me like an hour, and i colored w/ colored pencils, as you can tell, and i wish i had done a better job on the hair. . .

You got her look just right! Nice job! and i agree that the hair needs to be darker to match the eyebrows.

i ment to do the individual lashes sh she would fit in with my oth pics, but i did debate w/ myself whether to do individual lashes or to stay true to the movie, do you think it ould have been better to stay true to the movie? ~Ani

ummm...it's all up to you...but i think in this case it's better to stay true to the movie because jasmine's eyes are one the most defining things about her. her eyes are not like any other princess!

lol its funny that you mention the not drawing the same thing over and over again! Someone on Sheezyart posted this on my journal

I thought that it was pretty rude to say such a thing even if it was true . . . then i took a look at their gallery and they have the same 2 or 3 poses for about 7-10 pics and all they did was change the clothing /the hair so i'm not so sure they understand when repetitiveness (not sure thats a word) is. . .~Ani

Yeah i agree with you. it was kinda rude. at least u are trying to change things with ur drawings and being creative...even if it;s a little bit. i think it's hard a hard thing to do. and yeah i agree... Just changing the hair and clothing doesn't make it different! LOL What makes a drawing different is if u can take a character and draw them in a completely new pose. It's a really hard thing for me to do. LOL well anyway, i think u should continue to do whatever makes u happy because cause that's what art should be about.

I likes it. The only thing I would have to suggest is making the hair darker to match the eyebrows. But other than that, it's really good! It looks a lot like her!
