Description
So, as I mentioned in my latest Journal entry, there is this new Naruto Shippuden game for WII, called Ryujinki/The dragon's sword.I decided to make that kind of design for my OC Yumi, so here's the Result ^-^ I tried a new type of shading this time, and it turned out quite well :3

Not the only one, I have trouble as well, however with the amount of tutorials of drawing hands on Da, I has helped me quite a bit.

Very true, finding your own way does help aswell ^^. Your hands style isnt really that bad, the shape is good, there only slighty small, but everything else of the hand is actually great, in my opinion. ^^

Yep! Some kind of Thumbnail/sketch that works and is not to hard and time requiering, and also, finding the right finger style ^^

This is really great! I especially love how you shaded it, and the pose is awesome! It must have taken forever to get the way you wanted it D: (That is, if it's the way you want it xD)
Also, because you work with markers, what kind of markers would you recommend for coloring? I think I might like to try it sometime 8D

It did take a long time, but I made the lineart in class (a) >3<
I would recommend the Letraset ProMarkers 8D They are very nice for beginners, and there is houndred of ways to use them, so the opertunities are endless. For shading I recommend using the "Blender" first to make "shading", then start coloring afterwards. That gives the shading more depth =w= (sorry if I have bad failing spelling DX )

Hmm, I've never heard of that brand. I've always heard that Copic markers are best....probably just because they're meant specifically for manga work or something xD

Well, The copic marker is a better, but more expensive kind of marker. They are very good, yes, but I perfer using the ProMarkers, which are also meant for manga use. They are much cheaper (actually, on the web-store it's 1,69 £ each) and you get a lot more for your money ..well..that's at least how I see it >w<
