So today, I wanted to draw something a little different, kind of unique. It was originally a sketch of Snow White, but then I thought, "I could do more. Snow White is often portrayed as such a two dimensional character. I think I should do more."

Not to incite some wide debate or anything, but in my personal opinion, beauty shouldn't be limited to a black and white kind of mindset--there is a spectrum of beauty, as there are with colors. Conventional beauty are only shades of this spectrum, and shouldn't solely represent such a diverse cast of people on this planet. Again, this is just my own opinion, and is not necessarily right or wrong. Being an artist, while I can recognize and appreciate conventional beauty, I oftentimes see beauty in the eccentricity and uniqueness of things, a sentiment I hope is shared by some people (but in no way means every artist should think like this... this is simply my personal perspective).
