"You...you killed them...all of them." Bulma gasped at the carnage splayed out in front of her. Blood dripped from the ceiling and soaked the cold white floor. Bodies were haphazardly strewn across the room, their heads bashed into walls or their limbs ripped apart. They hadn't stood a chance against the beast of a man that was holding her. She felt sick. She felt terrified.

Despite her attempt to push away, Vegeta clung onto her tighter, refusing to let her run from him in her fear. "Shhhh..."He hushed at her as he stroked her hair.

Bulma gave up struggling, too weak and nauseous from the sight and smell of the corpses, and opted to burying her head under Vegeta's chin and into his neck. She gripped his chest plate with white knuckles, afraid if she let go she would collapse onto the bloody tiles.

"You're a monster..." she choked on her sobs. How could he have done such a thing?

"Perhaps..." he whispered into her hair. "Perhaps."

It's a darker novel but has a good plot. I want people to still see the sinister side of Vegeta because in all truth he's a cruel bastard (but we can't help but love him for it ) and the selfishly-human Bulma (we all know she is truly spoilt but so am I ) who's weaknesses and desires for her own personal power and gain leads her into a pact, signed in blood, with the psychopathic Prince Vegeta to help him in Universal domination. But when she finds out that Earth, her family, and friends are in grave danger by her own accomplice can she break the bond that she has carelessly created with the dementedly psychotic Saiyan royalty or is she doomed to watch her self-indulgent decision destroy everything she loves?
