Description Done for 's Zelda collaboration.

Queen Rutela is one of my favorite character designs from Legend of Zelda series. Of course she was one of my top choices. I portrayed her in a hopeful pose, like she is about to move on and see her husband on the other side. That's why her coloration is much brighter, since her spirit has been revitalized and is happy.

I'm looking forward to doing at least one more piece for the collaboration.

Also, my first time drawing, coloring, and shading with Paint Tool Sai. Finishing touches done in Photoshop.

Queen Rutela character belongs to the Legend of Zelda

I'm not terribly familier with this character, but I adore how she looks. She is really pretty

I love the way you did her fin/ruffle dress. I'm unfamiliar with the character, so I don't know much about her. But this is still a pretty piece of work. Why is the quality more grainy, though?

Thank you for your kind comment.
In response to your question, there are two reasons I can think of. One, I purposely added a canvas texture to some parts of the image to try and add more visual interest. Second, there also is some graininess because for some reason whenever I convert a .psd to a .gif in photoshop the blended areas become dithered like pixel art. I don't know how to stop it from doing that yet

Weird. I've noticed that my gif images get grainy too - I save as .png.

ooo that's right I remember my friend saying she loved saving her stuff as .pngs- I'll try it next time! I'll be drawing Twinrova next, so I'll try .png format on the finished piece. Thanks for the advice
