Fan-art I did for Bruce Coville, in celebration of his FINALLY getting around to that third book of "The Unicorn Chronicles" entitled "Dark Whispers". (I've been waiting for him to finish this series for the majority of my life--No joke.)Its Cara and the Squijimm (that's the thing clinging to her back), a handful of woodland creatures and, of course, the unicorns. Is anyone else hoping Lightfoot turns into a gorgeous young man? @.@ I know I am. Whoo!
It wont be printed until 2008, though. Think of this as a pre-emptive strike!

Great piece of art. I know I'm totally looking forward to that book - and I also want Lightfoot to turn into a hot guy. I'm a Lightfoot as a human/Cara shipper.
I love the colors, and the little details like the animals. The more I study it the more I notice things in it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one sitting around pondering the prospect of Lightfoot turning into a human--now I know there's a following pulling for it too! July 2008 is the release date of Dark Whispers; lets hope for the best.

The way the watercolors flow is, in a word, sexy.
It took me a second to get that the birds are birds and the deer are deer- this is totally a "second look" picture and it's great. <3
