Oh shit guys two pictures in one day WHAT IS THIS

Well with that speed paint done, I was all "well crap what am i going to do with the rest of the day..."

I'm trying to get together some sample images for the upcoming commissions page, this would be a flat colour one. Also I wanted to try out a new style : )

First Glance: A very well-done piece of fanart. Excellent job.

Vision: The work definitely expresses the whole idea that the characters in the show are bright and colorful, for sure. It is also pleasing to the eye. Even though there are many bright colors used, they aren't overwhelming. The clouds and background balance out the whole piece.

Originality: While the techniques used are definitely original (the textures on the lineart definitely bring the piece together), in the end, it's a picture of Rainbow Dash, which isn't the most unique idea out there.

Technique: The technique is what makes this piece shine. I absolutely love the methods used for the coloring and highlighting/shading. The way you took the Gen. 4 style and made it your own helps as well.

Impact: It honestly doesn't leave much of an impact. Sure, some people will be thinking, 'how did they do that?', but it doesn't evoke much emotion aside from awe.

All in all, this is a very good piece, and I hope to see more like this in the future.

Very beautiful I must say, but the vibrantness of the colors are so very grand! I love how all the colors come together in beauty! The pencil technique is a really good choice. The vision is awesome, the originality not so much. Great technique! The impact is glorious! I'm sure you have more great paintings, and i'd love to check them out. You have a great future ahead of you if you believe you do. Well 23 more words. Um, I really don't have much else to say. Nice background I guess. Overall I rate this a 19! Good luck!!!

It's impossible to draw these ponies without them looking adorable I like how you did the little curls on the clouds just like in the show The front legs look a bit short though, but still awesome

yeah MLP is very bright and colorful, but it has a dark and edgy side as well. fairly well balanced for all fans who are willing to give it a shot.
