Clayface aka Basil Karlo

Origin: Basil Karlo was a A-list movie star, he started out in his acting career as the horror movie icon 'Clayface' in the film known as The Terror. He would end up winnning an oscar for his role in the 'The Dark Interlude', he was known through out the world as one of the greatest actors around. Basil was intrested in the occult and paranormal events, he was a consipiracy thearist who belived in the mysteriories of the world. Bail was born and bred in Gotham and would party all through the night in exclusive clubs like My Alibi and the Iceberg Lounge. Unfortunatly for Karlo the fame got to his head and went heavy on the drink and drugs, at this time he was losing populatity due to scandals of him being arrested or the multiple lawsuits from people hes mistreated. According to his Arkham files and tapes that Basil was very suicidal at this point and planned to end it all with a cocktail of drugs, Instead of killing him though he claims he saw visions of a god called 'Barbatos' and was promised power for souls of the innocent, Beliving this to be true he donned the original Clayface mask a trenchcoat and decided he would become the serial killer know as Clayface.

Basil Managed to murder 12 people before he was arrested by Batman and Robin, He managed to fall off a rooftop where he was critacly injured, An ambluace crew treated him and was about to take him to Elliot Memorial hospital, he manged to escape after killing the ambulance crew, he tried to kill the driver and in the struggle they drove off a cliff, After findind the wreck the Gotham PD had reported that the driver tried to escape the wreckage but was murdered by Basil. It is not known how Basil got his Clay powers, Hes told multiple versions of how became his monsterious form. Basil originaly said the he got his powers from the old god he was worshiping in a ritual, He also claimed Hugo Strange did this to him by injecting himwith different kind of serums before buring him thinking he was dead having the mud fuse with his body resurrecting him. Basil also claimed that he was born like this, Whatever Basils origin truly is he is very much displeased with his transformation and has killed mutiple more people in a quest for a cure.

Strenghts: Clayface possess the ability to shapeshift and change the form of his bodie. This gives them the power to look like any person they chose as well create weapons out of their limbs to attack enemy and also melt. Because of Clayface's body nearly all physical attacks are useless. Clayface can also use his body to smother victims until lifeless. Clayface is an incredible actor and can pass as anyone, he also is able to mimic voices after his transformation, even in his weakest form he can copy someones voice, an annoyance for the doctors trying to treat him at Arkham. Clayface can change his size to fill any need. He's expanded large enough to engulf rooms or thin enough to slip into sewers, Clayface can make his body as hard as rock in order to smash through cars or doors, but can also maintain a liquid form to suffocate opponents, When shifting the density of his body Clayface can withstand bullets and heavy impacts. Basil is incredibly smart and was able to get away with 10 murders without leaving any evidence.

Weaknesses: Upon large usage of his shape-shifting abilities he can get dizzy and even faint, this means he can't be in a form for too long, his true form is a weak decaing body. He is weak to extreme cold, his body hardens and its hard for Basil to move. He is also incredibly weak to extreme heat, the clay hes made of hardens and if exposed to for too long Basil would likely die and shatter. Clayfaces can be quite easily knocked out with a strong voltage, the volts would cause his body to go haywire and he would pass out from the exhauston of his molucles moving. He regrets what has happened to him and wishes he could be his normal self again, his desperation leads to mistakes. Being made of clay-like substances, Karlo is vulnerable to water and water-based substances. Having enough of liquid poured into his body, it starts breaking down and its bonding ability, which makes Clayface weaker. His mental state is fragile, he has been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, his identity is on verge of collapsing, sometimes he forgets his own name. He regrets killing the original victims and carries them in what he considers his true form, he belives they are trapped there with him for etternity, but in actual fact they are his manifestations, He feels guilty for those hes harmed.
